Kadu Santos bodybuilding champion dies at 31
A promising bodybuilding athlete, Ricardo Nolasco dos Santos (known as “Kadu Santos”), passed away at the age of 31, just weeks after he proposed to his girlfriend.
Santos, from Brazil, had carved out a strong reputation in the fitness world. He secured 11 bodybuilding titles and was twice champion of the Muscle Contest regionally. Known for his social-media presence, Santos shared workout routines and coaching content with over 13,000 followers.
In July of the same year, Santos proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Sabrina Wollmann, during a live event. She publicly shared her joy, saying he made her the best version of herself and that she chose to share life’s journey with him.
Tragically, Santos died on October 20, 2025, in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, though the cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed. His father described the day as “the saddest day of my life” when announcing the passing.
Santos’s death has prompted an outpouring of grief from the bodybuilding and fitness community, many of whom praised his dedication, charisma, and uplifting attitude.
