
Lover lures and kills boyfriend in Sokoto
The Sokoto State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with the killing of a young man following what police described as a lure set by his girlfriend in Gidan Kacha village, Gada Local Government Area.
According to the PPRO, Ahmad Rufa’i, the victim, identified as Ali Salisu of Darnawa village, was invited by his girlfriend, Rukayya Amadu, to meet her at a secluded spot in the bush at Dabagi on October 4, 2025. Unknown to him, Rukayya had conspired with another man, Hamisu Ibrahim, to rob and kill him.
