Shyngle Wigwe denies contesting Herbert Wigwe’s inheritance

Herbert Wigwe’s father, Shyngle Wigwe, has publicly denied claims that he is contesting his late son’s inheritance with his grandchildren. The senior Wigwe described the rumours as baseless and insisted that he has no interest in his son’s estate.

In a recent interview, Shyngle Wigwe, who is advanced in age, asked: “How can I want to claim Herbert’s properties? Who is the best person to defend Herbert’s properties? The father at 90 years?” He emphasised that his grandchildren are alive and well, and that he has little time left to worry about material wealth.

He also pointed out that he invested in raising Herbert and had done so without external help, and added that his only focus now is on peace, family unity and preserving Herbert’s legacy rather than engaging in any legal battle over assets.
