Segun Dada denies Tinubu US visit
Segun Dada, a presidential aide, has publicly refuted claims that Bola Tinubu will travel to the United States on Tuesday to meet with J.D. Vance, Vice President of the United States.
In his denial, Dada described the story as “very, very fake news” and emphasised that no such visit is scheduled. The clarification comes amid reports suggesting President Tinubu would be travelling to the U.S. to discuss Nigeria’s designation as a “Country of Particular Concern” with the U.S. administration.
According to the presidency, any future visit by President Tinubu to the United States would be to meet with Donald Trump directly, not Vice President Vance.
