Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his 56th birthday behind bars on November 4, 2025, under circumstances far removed from his past lavish celebrations. The acclaimed music mogul is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey, after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
On his birthday, Combs followed the same standard routine as other inmates at the facility. Breakfast included fruit, a choice of bran flakes or breakfast cake or whole wheat bread with jelly, accompanied by skim milk. For lunch, the menu offered either chicken parmesan or a chickpea burger, with pasta, spinach, garlic bread or whole wheat bread as sides. Dinner featured either cheese pizza or navy beans, served with an Italian pasta salad, green beans and a garden salad. Though the commissary allows additional snacks such as honey buns, Pop-Tarts or cheesecake squares the day passed without any special recognition beyond the typical regimented schedule.
The setting of his birthday gives a stark contrast to his previous public life. Once known for grand parties and star-filled celebrations, Combs’ day away from fanfare underscores the shift in his circumstances. He was transferred to Fort Dix on October 30 following his attorneys’ concerns about conditions at his previous facility.
While Combs’ birthday passed quietly in a correctional setting, his legal journey is far from over. His projected release date is May 8, 2028, though that may change depending on good behaviour and the outcome of ongoing appeals.
