Nigeria‐based entertainer Speed Darlington has publicly called out two young ladies after he alleges they collected ₦1,000 from him as transport fare (“T-Fare”) and never showed up at his residence. According to a video he shared online, he displayed a photo of the women and demanded that they return the money, stating he had given the amount for them to come visit him and stay the night.

In his recorded message, Darlington asked the young ladies to “send my money back” and emphasised that even though the sum may seem small, in the current economy it matters. He expressed frustration that the promise of a visit was not upheld after the payment was made.

The video has since circulated online and drawn attention for a number of reasons. Some viewers interpreted it as a comedic or dramatic outburst, while others raised questions about the dynamics of pay‐for‐visit arrangements and public call‐outs for relatively modest amounts. The incident also sparked commentary about the treatment of young women in social media dramas and the public reputational risks for all parties involved.

At this time, there is no indication that any formal legal action has been taken regarding the matter, nor that the two women have responded publicly. The situation remains a social media topic rather than a formal dispute settled in court or through mediation.
