Simone Biles boob job
Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles has revealed for the first time the full reasons behind her decision to undergo a breast augmentation. In a recent exclusive interview with People magazine, Biles explained that the procedure was never about hating her body but about embracing self-love, confidence and personal choice.
Biles, who has long been admired for her athletic achievements, noted that although winning medals may seem unreachable for many, the feelings of self-doubt and body image are universal. She said the decision to share her cosmetic surgery journey was driven by the desire to be honest and relatable. “Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not relatable,” she said. “But what is relatable is how we feel about ourselves, what we talk about, what we go through and how we share openly, honestly.”
According to her interview, Biles had three cosmetic procedures: a breast augmentation, a lower blepharoplasty (an eyelid surgery to address hereditary eye bags) and earlobe surgery to repair an injury from a childhood earring incident.
When talking about her breast enhancement, Biles emphasized that it was not because she disliked her body. She said: “Okay, obviously you can notice the breasts. But other than that, it’s just feeling good about yourself and loving yourself… And not that I didn’t like the way I looked or the way I felt. It’s just something that I notice obviously a little bit more because I live in this body, I’m just so used to it.”
She also addressed the role of social media in shaping perceptions of appearance. Biles argued that platforms often present unrealistic standards, and she hopes her openness will show young girls that they have a right to make choices about their bodies, without shame. “Social media is not real, so that’s why I try to be as transparent as possible,” she said.
By speaking out, Biles is reframing the conversation around cosmetic surgery from one of secrecy or regret into one of empowerment and personal agency. Her message is clear: choosing to change something about your appearance does not have to come from dislike or insecurity it can stem from self-acceptance and empowerment.
