Governor Kefas to join APC
Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has announced he will formally join the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
He made the declaration while inspecting the renovation of the Jolly Nyame Stadium, which is expected to host the defection event. According to Kefas, the move is driven by his vision for the future of Taraba State, not personal gain.
State APC leaders have confirmed there are no preconditions for his defection. They describe his entry into the party as voluntary and part of a push to foster unity and development in Taraba.
