Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully rescued a man who was abducted by suspected kidnappers in Lau Local Government Area of Taraba State, in a swift military operation that has been widely commended by residents. According to security sources, the victim, identified as 40-year-old Alhaji Shuaibu, was seized by gunmen near Yaja village on Wednesday morning and taken to an unknown location.
Acting quickly on credible intelligence, soldiers mobilised and pursued the kidnappers, managing to locate and free the victim unharmed just two hours after the abduction took place.
