Actress Sarah Martins hospitalised after extreme exhaustion
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been hospitalised after collapsing from extreme exhaustion, sparking concern among fans and colleagues. The actress shared details of the frightening episode on her Instagram page, saying she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and momentarily feared the worst before attempting to go about her day. Doctors later diagnosed her with severe exhaustion after conducting more than 30 medical tests, all of which returned negative for serious illnesses such as cancer, fibroid, malaria and organ dysfunction. Medics advised her to take complete bed rest to recover following the collapse. Sarah attributed her condition to months of nonstop work throughout December, including managing inventory and interviewing staff at her business before her body finally gave in and she slumped and was rushed to hospital. She expressed gratitude that her vital organs were unaffected and thanked supporters for their prayers and well-wishes. Doctors have stressed the need for proper rest and recovery as she continues to recuperate from the health scare.
