Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her personal decision not to adopt children, despite facing infertility struggles. In a recent appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, the 56-year-old actress candidly discussed her journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the emotional challenges she encountered.

Aniston shared that she underwent multiple rounds of IVF and explored various alternative treatments, such as drinking Chinese teas, in her efforts to conceive. She expressed that the inability to have a biological child was deeply emotional but ultimately brought her a sense of peace, as she no longer wonders about the possibilities. Reflecting on her experiences, she acknowledged that she would have benefited from advice to freeze her eggs earlier but emphasized that she holds no regrets.

Addressing the topic of adoption, Aniston explained that she never considered it because she desired a biological connection with her child. She stated, “I want my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.”

Aniston’s openness about her fertility journey and personal choices has resonated with many, shedding light on the complexities of family planning and the importance of respecting individual decisions.
