APC to deliver 10 million votes for Tinubu in South-West
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress have expressed confidence that the party can secure up to 10 million votes for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the South-West region during the next general elections. Party officials made the declaration while addressing supporters and stakeholders, emphasizing the region’s longstanding political support for the president.
According to APC leaders, the South-West remains a stronghold of the party due to its historical connection with Tinubu and the political structures established over the years. They said the party is working to strengthen grassroots mobilization and ensure that voters across the region are actively engaged ahead of future elections.
The South-West geopolitical zone, which includes states such as Lagos State, Oyo State, Ogun State, Osun State, Ondo State, and Ekiti State, has traditionally played a crucial role in national elections. Party leaders said mobilization efforts will focus on strengthening support in these states to deliver the projected vote count.
APC officials also highlighted ongoing government initiatives and development projects as factors that could influence voter support in the region. They argued that policies implemented under Tinubu’s administration would continue to resonate with voters, encouraging strong turnout in favour of the party.
Political analysts note that while the APC remains influential in the South-West, achieving a target of 10 million votes will depend on voter turnout, opposition strength, and the overall political climate as the election approaches. The party’s confidence, however, reflects its belief in maintaining dominance in the region.
