Appointment of new special advisers to strengthen teamwork – Fubara
Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has said the appointment of new special advisers is aimed at strengthening teamwork within his administration and improving service delivery to the people of the state. He made this known while addressing government officials and supporters, explaining that the decision was taken to enhance coordination, efficiency, and collective responsibility in the execution of government policies and programmes.
Governor Fubara noted that governance requires collaboration and shared commitment, stressing that no administration can succeed without a strong team working toward common goals. He said the newly appointed advisers were selected based on their experience, competence, and understanding of the administration’s vision, adding that their roles would help bridge gaps, improve communication, and ensure smoother implementation of projects across key sectors.
The governor also urged the appointees to see their positions as a call to service rather than personal achievement. He reminded them that the expectations of Rivers people are high, especially in areas of infrastructure, social services, and economic development. According to him, unity among government officials is essential to meeting these expectations and sustaining public trust.
Fubara reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance and said his administration would continue to make decisions that promote stability, cooperation, and progress. He expressed confidence that with stronger teamwork and dedication from all members of his team, Rivers State would record meaningful development and improved welfare for its citizens.
