Eight killed six missing in Nindama Nasarawa attack

In the early hours of Friday, October 10, gunmen invaded Nindama village in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The attackers struck around 3:30 a.m., opening fire on residents. At least eight people were confirmed killed. Six others are still missing. Two other victims sustained serious injuries and are receiving medical attention. Security forces have intensified their search for the missing persons and the attackers. Preliminary investigations suggest the attack may be linked to a land dispute in the area. A combined team of security personnel—army, police, DSS, NSCDC, and local vigilantes—visited the site later that afternoon, and patrols have been increased.
