Gang leader falls off balcony to death while fleeing cops
A gang leader died after falling from a balcony while trying to evade arrest during a police raid. The man, identified as Ender Alexis Rojas Montan, was 31 years old and affiliated with the Alayon Dynasty faction of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang in Colombia.
On October 9, 2025, law enforcement officers launched Operation Shadow 3, targeting the gang’s operations in Antioquia. During the raid, Rojas Montan attempted to flee by scaling the balcony railing of an eighth-floor apartment. He lost his grip and plunged to his death, landing on the sidewalk below. His fall was captured on bodycam footage released by authorities.
Other gang members present at the scene were arrested, including Luis Alberto Cabeza Calderon (also known as “Toro”), Yonathan Samuel Urbina Rodriguez, and Daviannys del Jesus Moya Avila. The police also recovered contraband such as a fragmentation grenade and a quantity of amphetamine. The arrested men are believed to be part of the gang’s drug and extortion network.
Rojas Montan had fled Chile in 2024 and was reportedly working to expand the gang’s reach into Colombia’s Aburrá Valley. His efforts involved overseeing narcotics distribution, extortion, and trafficking networks. The broader operation involved coordination among Colombian, Chilean, Peruvian authorities, the U.S. DEA, and Ameripol.
The fall of Rojas Montan underscores the high risks gang leaders face when law enforcement intensifies pressure. The arrest of his associates and the recovery of weapons and drugs mark a significant blow to the gang’s activities in the region.
