American rapper Kanye West, who now goes by the moniker «Ye», is facing serious legal risks in Brazil linked to his controversial song titled Heil Hitler. Brazilian authorities have issued an explicit warning that if he performs the track or otherwise promotes Nazi ideology at a concert in São Paulo, he could be arrested on the spot.

According to the ruling by the São Paulo State Public Prosecutor’s Office, concert‐goers must not encounter any swastikas, Nazi salutes, or lyrical references to Nazism during the performance. The mayor of São Paulo has reiterated that “no one who promotes Nazism will play or sing… in the city of São Paulo.”

The threat of immediate arrest also extends to the promoters of the event. Authorities say that if Kanye West were to perform the piece, both he and the promoters could be charged with crimes of racism or “collective moral damages” under Brazilian law.

Kanye’s performance was scheduled for November 29 in São Paulo, but the concert has faced major obstacles. The usual venue, the Interlagos racetrack, was vetoed by city authorities due to the rapper’s past promotion of Nazi‐themed content. As of now the show lacks a confirmed location under the new restrictions.

This latest controversy follows Kanye’s earlier release of “Heil Hitler”, which drew widespread condemnation for its glorification of Adolf Hitler and Nazi imagery. Streaming platforms have largely removed the track, but it remains publicly associated with his recent posture and comments.
