Key leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party gathered for a crucial meeting of the party’s Board of Trustees amid the ongoing internal crisis affecting the opposition party. Among those present at the meeting were Seyi Makinde, Bala Mohammed, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Adolphus Wabara, and Umar Iliya Damagum. Other senior party stakeholders and members of the Board of Trustees also attended the session.
The meeting was convened to review developments surrounding the party’s leadership structure following recent court rulings and political disagreements. Party elders reportedly discussed strategies to restore unity and strengthen the party’s internal cohesion amid rising tensions among different factions.
Participants emphasized the importance of dialogue and reconciliation to ensure that the party remains stable and competitive within Nigeria’s political environment.
