Police arrest man for s3xually assaulting 10-year-old boy in Abuja
The police in Abuja have arrested a man for allegedly s3xually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in the Federal Capital Territory. According to reports, the suspect was apprehended after neighbors noticed unusual behavior between him and the child and quickly alerted the authorities. Police officers from the FCT Command acted swiftly, rescuing the victim and taking the suspect into custody for further investigation.
A police source confirmed that the incident took place in one of the suburbs of Abuja, where the suspect allegedly lured the boy to a secluded area before committing the act. The victim was later taken to a hospital for medical examination and care. The police have since commenced a full investigation to determine the extent of the assault and whether the suspect may have been involved in similar cases in the past.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer stated that the suspect would be charged to court once investigations are concluded. He also assured residents that the command remains committed to protecting vulnerable individuals, especially minors, from all forms of abuse and exploitation.
