Regina Daniels responds to Ned Nwoko drug allegations

Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has publicly responded with fresh allegations after her husband, Ned Nwoko, claimed she and her siblings are drug users. Daniels accused Nwoko of forcing himself on her when she said “no” and alleged that the accusations about drug use stem from attempts to control her and her family.

In recent Instagram stories, Daniels said that Nwoko sent thugs into her life and portrayed her alleged drug use as a tool of intimidation. She stated that her siblings were being targeted and that the drug-use claims were part of a broader script to discredit her. She posted that: “Why don’t you tell them how you force yourself on me when I say no. Why don’t you tell them that all you wives are on drugs?” The message was aimed directly at Nwoko and the narrative he has advanced.

The dispute began when a video of Daniels expressing distress over her treatment circulated online. In that clip, she said: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing; in my own house I am a queen… I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” Nwoko swiftly countered, denying any domestic violence and instead accusing Daniels of drug and alcohol abuse, saying that her behaviour, including destruction of property and assault on staff, was due to substance misuse.

Following his remarks, Daniels asserted that Nwoko had orchestrated the arrest of her siblings to pressure her into taking rehabilitation for alleged drug use. She warned that she would no longer stay silent and threatened to reveal details of Nwoko’s own alleged misconduct.

The situation has escalated into a fully public family and marital feud, involving allegations of substance abuse, domestic violence, intimidation, and manipulation. Neither side appears ready to retract their claims, and the dispute continues to draw heavy social-media and news coverage in Nigeria.
