Victor Osimhen has made it clear that the Super Eagles must qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, calling the campaign a top priority for him and the team.
He described Nigeria’s failure to reach the 2022 World Cup as a “heartbreaking disappointment,” and said he’s desperate to avoid a repeat.
Osimhen also emphasised that this current Super Eagles squad is a “talented generation,” but they can only prove their quality on the global stage by qualifying.
He warned that the remaining qualifiers will be like “war,” calling on his teammates to give everything.
