According to Touré, Nigeria’s style of play, attacking mentality, and overall team performance stood out above all other sides in the tournament. He pointed to the number of goals scored and the quality of football displayed by the Super Eagles as key reasons for his assessment, saying that when watching the stats and the way Nigeria played, the team was the most impressive at AFCON 2025. He also noted that Nigeria boasted two of the best African players on the pitch, contributing to their compelling performances throughout the competition.
