My Goal Is to Give Back Through Songs – Teedollz
Hereford-based Nigerian artiste Emmanuel Pius, popularly known as Teedollz, is steadily carving out a niche for himself within the United Kingdom’s music scene, blending Afrobeat, soul, pop, and inspirational music while using his craft to promote community engagement and cultural exchange.
With more than 18 years of experience as a singer, music producer, sound engineer, drummer, and pianist, Teedollz has built a reputation for versatility and a commitment to creating music that resonates across cultures. Born and raised in Nigeria, he began his musical journey in church choirs and recording studios, where he developed a signature sound rooted in Afrobeat, soul, and faith-inspired themes. Before relocating to the UK, he had already established himself within the West African music industry through collaborations, music production work, and live performances.
Now based in Hereford, Teedollz has become an active figure within the city’s creative community, performing at festivals and public events while working to entertain audiences and share his cultural background through music. His recent activities include a performance at the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Summer Hangout, securing airplay on Nigerian radio stations, and steadily expanding his catalogue of original songs across major digital streaming platforms.
Outside of music, Teedollz works full-time in the care sector, balancing his professional responsibilities with his ongoing passion for the arts. He is also pursuing recognition under the UK’s Global Talent Visa scheme as he continues building his profile as a performer, producer, and songwriter in the country.
Reflecting on his broader mission as an artist, Teedollz explained that his goals extend well beyond entertainment, describing his ambition to use music as a tool to uplift people, bring communities together, and share his personal story. Looking ahead, he said Hereford and the wider UK have welcomed him warmly, and that his focus going forward is on giving back through his music, his live performances, and by creating opportunities for the next generation of emerging artistes.
To that end, the singer plans to release further original music, expand his live performance schedule across the UK, and eventually establish a record label dedicated to discovering and mentoring up-and-coming talent, positioning himself not only as a performer but as a mentor figure within the UK’s growing Afrobeat and soul music scene.
