JAMB Releases Over 1.8 Million UTME Results Nationwide
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released more than 1.8 million results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination across Nigeria.
The announcement marks one of the largest result releases in recent years, as the board continues the phased publication of scores following the completion of the computer-based examination exercise. Officials confirmed that the results cover candidates from various examination days and centres nationwide.
JAMB stated that the release followed a thorough review process aimed at ensuring accuracy and maintaining the integrity of the examination system. The board emphasized its commitment to transparency and fairness in the conduct of national assessments.
Candidates are advised to check their results using official JAMB channels, as the board continues to caution against fraudulent websites and misinformation circulating online. It also reiterated that all result-related services should be accessed through approved platforms.
The development comes amid ongoing reforms within the examination body, including tighter monitoring of CBT centres and improved technical systems designed to reduce errors and malpractice.
Education stakeholders have described the large-scale release as a key milestone in the 2026 admission process, as universities and other tertiary institutions prepare for the next phase of admissions.
As the process continues, JAMB is expected to release additional batches where necessary, ensuring that all candidates are properly accounted for in the nationwide examination exercise.
