JAMB Releases UTME Results for Friday and Saturday Candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially released the results of candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Friday and Saturday, marking a key stage in the ongoing 2026 examination process.
According to the board, the results were made available after the successful completion of marking and verification procedures. Candidates who participated on the specified days can now check their scores through the approved channels provided by JAMB.
The release is part of the board’s phased approach to publishing UTME results, ensuring that each batch undergoes proper review before being made public. Officials noted that the process is designed to maintain accuracy and uphold the integrity of the examination.
JAMB also reiterated its commitment to transparency and fairness, stating that measures have been put in place to detect and address any form of examination malpractice. Candidates with concerns about their results have been advised to follow official procedures for inquiries.
The development comes amid ongoing efforts by the board to improve the examination system and reduce technical challenges. Earlier actions, including the monitoring of Computer-Based Test centres, were aimed at ensuring a smoother experience for candidates.
Students and parents have continued to monitor the release closely, as the results will play a significant role in determining admission prospects into tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
As the UTME process continues, JAMB is expected to release additional batches of results in the coming days, keeping candidates informed as the exercise progresses.
