Odumodublvck Calls Peter Obi ‘Motion Man’ at Airport
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has sparked social media reactions after unexpectedly encountering former Anambra State governor and presidential candidate Peter Obi at an airport in Abuja.
In a video circulating online on Friday, November 6, 2026, the musician enthusiastically greeted Obi, describing him as “His Excellency,” “the fittest man” and the “motion man” while the politician appeared to be rushing to catch a flight.
The brief interaction has generated humorous comments, with some Nigerians focusing on Obi’s hurried movement and others debating whether he acknowledged the rapper properly.
Odumodublvck Hails Peter Obi at Abuja Airport
The encounter reportedly took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
According to Legit.ng, Odumodublvck spotted Obi near what appeared to be the airport’s check-in or security area and approached him with an energetic greeting.
The rapper was heard praising the politician’s fitness and describing him as someone who was always on the move.
Obi, however, continued moving through the airport as he appeared focused on catching his flight.
The brief nature of the encounter became a major talking point after the video was shared across social media platforms.
Odumodublvck later posted about the interaction, referring to Obi as the “King of Motion” and emphasising his constant movement.
Nigerians React to Viral Airport Video
The video attracted mixed reactions from social media users, many of whom found the encounter amusing.
Some commenters joked about Obi’s apparent urgency, suggesting that the former governor was frequently seen rushing through airports.
Others questioned whether the politician had deliberately ignored the rapper or simply did not have enough time to stop for a longer conversation.
Some users defended Obi, arguing that he was likely trying to avoid missing his flight rather than intentionally snubbing the musician.
The reactions ranged from humorous observations about his fitness to political commentary involving his presidential ambition.
MetroPunch reported that Odumodublvck’s remarks appeared playful, although it remained unclear whether the rapper intended them as genuine praise or friendly teasing.
Odumodublvck and Obi’s Previous Encounter
The latest airport interaction is not the first time the rapper and politician have met.
In April 2025, Odumodublvck encountered Obi at an airport following a public campaign in which the musician asked the former governor to endorse his music project, The Machine Is Coming.
According to Notjustok, the earlier meeting followed several social media posts by the rapper seeking Obi’s support for the album.
The encounter was described as friendly and helped ease speculation about possible tension between them.
The two men’s latest meeting has therefore attracted additional attention because of their previous interaction.
Peter Obi’s 2027 Political Ambition
The viral video comes amid growing political activities ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
Obi, who contested the 2023 presidential election, remains a prominent political figure and is seeking another opportunity to lead the country.
He is now associated with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), while political parties and aspirants continue preparations for the next election cycle.
Although the airport encounter has generated considerable online attention, the brief exchange does not establish any new political endorsement or formal relationship between the rapper and Obi.
For now, the video has primarily become a source of entertainment for social media users, with Odumodublvck’s “motion man” description emerging as the most memorable part of the interaction.
