Junior Ubiribo Disputes Coroner’s Findings on Father’s Death, Alleges Unexplained Injuries
Junior Ubiribo, son of late Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, has publicly disputed the official account of his father’s death in Thailand, alleging he was killed and raising a series of unverified claims about injuries he says were never adequately explained.
In a video shared online on Wednesday, September 10, Junior rejected reports linking his father’s death to complications from a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure. “My dad was killed in March, and I say killed because although they’re trying to push this narrative that he needed his private region bigger, that’s not what happened,” he said. He went on to allege that his father’s body showed injuries inconsistent with the officially reported cause of death, specifically claiming there was a missing eyeball and what he described as a “giant gash” on his father’s forehead, though he did not provide medical records, photographs or other independent evidence to support these claims.
The dispute follows a UK coroner’s inquest, held at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, which concluded that Igho Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism linked to hyaluronic acid injected during a cosmetic procedure at a clinic in Bangkok. According to Thai health authorities, Ubiribo, 43, had received five penis enlargement injections at the clinic between 2024 and 2026, including a final 40cc hyaluronic acid filler injection administered on March 5, the day before his death on March 6.
Junior said his family had not received adequate information from his father’s wife, fashion designer Danielle Simba Allen, about the circumstances surrounding his death, alleging the family instead learned most details through media reports circulating publicly after the fact. He went further, questioning the legitimacy of his father’s marriage to Allen, referring to her at points as his father’s “so-called wife,” and separately alleged that properties and valuables belonging to his father, including watches, had been taken to South Africa following his death. “I had my inheritance stolen by his wife. Just crazy how many properties, guns, watches, just gone to South Africa with the wind,” he alleged.
It is important to note that Junior’s claims, including the allegations of foul play, the described injuries, and the claims regarding missing property, remain unverified and unsupported by independent evidence in the material shared. Danielle Simba Allen has not publicly responded to the allegations, and no law enforcement or coronial body has indicated any reopening or revision of the official findings regarding the cause of death. Junior’s comments nonetheless mark a significant public challenge to the prevailing account of his father’s death, adding a new and contested dimension to a case that had, until now, been treated as formally resolved following the coroner’s ruling.
Despite the weight of his allegations, Junior also used the video to share an emotional personal tribute to his father, saying he missed him deeply and that he did not deserve what happened to him, nor, in Junior’s view, what continues to happen in the aftermath of his death. As of the time of reporting, no authorities in the UK or Thailand have issued any statement responding to Junior’s specific claims, leaving the competing accounts of Igho Ubiribo’s death unresolved.
