Peller Wedding Cost: TikToker Reveals He Spent Over N300m On Ceremony With Jarvis
Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known by his stage name Peller, has disclosed that he spent more than N300 million on his recent wedding to fellow content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, triggering widespread reactions across social media.
Peller made the revelation in a TikTok post on Sunday, August 10, 2026, writing simply, “300million plus gone for wedding.” The post quickly gained traction online, racking up over one million likes, more than 11,800 comments and over 32,000 saves, underscoring the enormous public interest that has trailed the couple’s wedding since it took place. The disclosure came two days after Peller and Jarvis’s white wedding ceremony, held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in a star-studded event in Lagos that had already drawn significant attention before the cost revelation went public.
The staggering figure quickly became a talking point online, with many followers focusing less on the scale of the spending itself and more on whether Peller had received financial or material benefits from the high-profile ceremony that could offset or exceed the amount spent. TikTok user Larry_X commented, “You spend 300 million and collect 400 million house who gain now,” referencing widespread reports that the couple had received a mansion worth roughly N400 million from a billionaire well-wisher during the celebrations. Another user, Armstrong, wrote, “You gain pass that 300m Guyyy,” while a third user, Bella, remarked, “300 million gone 1 billion recovered.”
On X, a user identified as Gbemisola offered a more analytical take on the disclosure, suggesting that the real question was not the size of the expenditure but what came back from it. According to the user, if the wedding ultimately generated more value than what was spent, the narrative shifts from wasteful spending to a savvy demonstration of how to convert public attention into financial return. Another user, Fidelis Adaeze, pointed to Peller’s earning history as useful context, noting that the content creator has previously stated he earns approximately N20 million weekly from TikTok. Not all reactions were focused on finances, however, with some social media users questioning the pace at which Peller appeared to already be dispensing marital advice just days into his marriage.
As of the time of filing, Peller had not provided a detailed breakdown of how the reported N300 million was spent across the various aspects of the wedding, nor had he publicly confirmed the total value of gifts, cash or other benefits received from well-wishers during the celebrations. The wedding disclosure followed earlier coverage of the couple’s reception, where Jarvis wore a striking gown designed by Nigerian fashion house Prudential Atelier, departing from conventional white or ivory bridal styling in favour of a steampunk-inspired black design featuring appliqué, black cording, structured shoulders and gear-and-cog embellishments, a look that itself drew significant commentary online. Separately, Peller has also opened up about tension with his family over the guest list at the white wedding, saying relatives had shown up with romantic partners despite his request to keep the event small, an experience he linked to the dynamics of growing up in a polygamous household.
