Rema Confirms Third Studio Album Is on the Way
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Rema has officially confirmed that his third studio album is in the works, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement across social media following the surprise announcement.
The singer, born Divine Ikubor, shared the news across his social media platforms, revealing that his next full-length project is coming soon. The confirmation follows a sustained period of activity from Rema throughout 2026, even in the absence of a full solo project. The year has been defined by a steady run of high-profile features and collaborations rather than a standalone album, including “Secondhand” with Don Toliver, which surpassed 100 million Spotify streams and reached the top 10 on both the platform’s Global and USA charts. He also featured on French pianist Sofiane Pamart’s introspective single “Moviestar,” and joined Thai rapper Lisa and Brazilian singer Anitta on “Goals,” a track from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album that was performed live at the tournament’s Los Angeles opening ceremony.
